On August 7th we threw a birthday party for Evelyn in our backyard. Nana made her this cat cake. Evy loves cats! (And she stuck her finger in the frosting when she saw her cake.)

Since Evy and Rylan (5th cousin) were born only 9 days apart, they opened their first gifts to each other together. 
Eden picked out the book Baby Bear... to give to Evy. She read/ sang it to her right away. It quickly became one of Evy's favorites.
Mom and Dad gave Evy her first baby doll (to get her excited about having a baby sister).
She loves this card that came w/ her cat towel from Nana and Grandpa.
What kind of party would it be if we didn't feed the pond fish?!
