Christ the Savior is Born!

Guess who got to play the part of Baby Jesus when we acted out the Christmas story???

Here's Evy with her cousins: Maddie (as Mary), Joel (the donkey), Evelyn (Jesus), Ashley (an angel), Megan (Gabriel), Cade (Joseph)...

... Grandpa (as Zechariah), Grandma (Elizabeth), Evelyn (Baby John the Baptist), and Mom in the background as the Narrator.

All that good acting wore her out!

Dad played King Herod (that's a paper crown on his head).

Evy enjoyed playing with cousin Ashley's doll.

She especially loved her first Christmas gift!

... as well as some quality time with Grandma.

Christmas Break

Christmas break is wonderful because Daddy is home all the time!

Mom loves it too.

We spend lots of time relaxing together.

Catching Up

I'm pretty behind on my blogging!
Here are some pics of Evy in her baby dedication dress, made with love by Nana.
She was dedicated on Nov. 15th.

Happy Halloween!

Here we are: Mom and Dad as nerds, Evy as a leopard, and Josie as a dog wearing a leopard-print dress.

15 lbs?!!

Yesterday we went to the doctor. Evy weighed in at 15lbs 6 oz! I didn't believe it and had to see the scale myself. Sure enough - she's off the charts!

This adorable dress is from one of Mom and Dad's former students, Angel.
Nana made the sweater.

This is how we get yard work done.

She's definitely a morning person.
This is her usual "good morning" face and it comes w/ lots of cooing.

Watching the world series w/ Dad.

I had to raise the straps on her car seat because she's getting so big. Good thing Nana and Grandpa got her the big seat!
