15 lbs?!!

Yesterday we went to the doctor. Evy weighed in at 15lbs 6 oz! I didn't believe it and had to see the scale myself. Sure enough - she's off the charts!

Our wonderful neighbors planned a party so we could all hang out together and "greet the newest addition to the neighborhood."
We all had a great time!

Evy's First Trip

This past weekend, we took Evy for her first trip down to Simi Valley. When we got there, a few of us were tired from the long drive. But the next morning... we woke up to this giant cupcake and all these baby cupcakes!

Lots of friends and family came to love on Evy.
Bob and Cletha Hale gave Evy this beautiful afgan that Cletha made.

Evy got a good taste of Mary Hill (whose mom's name is Evelyn too).

Papa Jim let Evy take a nap on his lap.

Mrs. Crane (Mom's high school Drama teacher) and Mr. Crane (Mom's 2nd grade teacher) surprised us when they came to meet Evy.
